Minister Lad Urge Govt to Handover Anjali Case to CID

Hubballi: Karnataka Minister in-charge of the district, Santosh Lad, visited the residence of Anjali Ambiger on Saturday to meet with her family members. Anjali was tragically stabbed to death by Vishwa alias Girish Savant.

Minister Lad offered his condolences for the loss and assured the family that the government stands with them during this difficult time. He also extended financial aid by presenting a cheque of Rs 2 lakh from his Santosh Lad Foundation to Anjali’s grandmother and brother.

Furthermore, Lad informed the media that he will urge the government to transfer the case to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation. He also mentioned that Home Minister G Parameshwara informed him about a scheduled visit to Hubballi on Monday.
